Charlie Keaton is the pen name and alter-ego of Hawaii-based writer/producer Dominic Testa, former Editorial + Brand Strategy Director for Modern in Denver magazine. That’s me.
I create videos and written content for media and businesses. Brubaker Creative, my storytelling and strategic consulting firm, takes on select projects for small- to mid-size clients with demonstrable social or community value.
In a previous life I was Director of Development for The USA Swimming Foundation and Executive Director of the education non-profit The Big Brain Club. I’ve worked in media, publishing, amateur and professional sports, and for philanthropic organizations big and small. In 2016 I co-founded Denver Design Week. My wife says I make a mean veggie stir fry.
As a volunteer I’ve served on the Daniels Fund Scholarship Committee, as Co-Chair of The Art District on Santa Fe’s annual summer film series, and as Communications Chair on an advisory board for the Denver Center for Performing Arts.
